UPAC’s pedigree dates back to 1971 when Mr. Mohamed Korachi, the
Entrepreneurial perfumer diversified horizontally to export various products such as medicinal herbs and essential oils to Europe as well as vertically to establish Gifleur an
Essential oil factory in Fayoum.
This vibrant factory located a hundred kilometers from Cairo specialized in the
Production of, among other things: geranium oil, jasmine and rose concentrates

Producer and exporter of cosmetics and high end perfumes to Africa and the Middle East.
By the late Eighties, Gifleur was perfuming 40% of locally produced soaps and
Detergents
In 1995, pioneering industrialist Mr. Mohamed Korachi established UPAC factory
